The Ramadan moon has been spotted, and the holy month will begin on Tuesday according to the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.

Following a meeting of the national and zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees in Peshawar to observe the Islamic month’s crescent, the statement was made.

Lahore and Peshawar were the first places to glimpse the Ramadan crescent.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee met in Peshawar under the direction of Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, while the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) zonal moon-sighting committee met there as well.

Comparable zonal committee meetings took place in Quetta, Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi at the same time.
