On Friday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said that it is able to establish a government at the federal level and disregarded the possibility of forming an alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

“Neither the PML-N nor the PPP are in contact with us,” Barrister Gohar stated to Geo News.

According to him, PTI is picking up 150 seats in the National Assembly and would be able to secure the necessary number of members to establish government at the centre.

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, we do not plan to create a coalition government with the PPP and PML-N.

He went on, “We will form the government in Punjab and the Centre.”

According to him, the PTI is clearly in the lead and will also form the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“PTI will continue to serve in Parliament and fulfil its mandate.”

He said that independent candidates are PTI members and vowed not to join any other party in defiance of party orders because to concerns about horse trading.

His remarks follow senior PML-N leader Ishaq Dar’s assertion that the party is in communication with independent candidates who are winning the general elections in 2024.
