Pakistan’s gold market thrives as the price marginally rises.

Ten kilos of 24 carat gold cost Rs 450 more on the local market, making it Rs 228,600, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Additionally, the cost of 10-gram and tola silver went up by Rs386 to Rs195,988.

On the global market, gold now costs $2180, a rise of $6.

As of 0601 GMT, spot gold remained unchanged at $2,157.32 an ounce, trading close to the record high of $2,164.09 reached on Thursday.
At $2,164.60, US gold futures were unchanged.
Palladium increased 0.5% to $1,039.07, silver remained stable at $24.32, while spot platinum dropped 0.3% to $916.48 per ounce. There was potential for weekly gains in all three metals.
