Online cab driver in Karachi says he changed his mind at the last minute about suicide.

Yesterday, a financially struggling young online cab driver allegedly leaped into the sea while rescue operations were underway to save him.

Tahir Mehmood, an online cab driver, stated that he engaged in a dispute with his wife and subsequently travelled to Karachi’s Do Darya (a seashore location). He then communicated with his wife by phone, informing her of his intention to commit suicide.

Nevertheless, he then altered his decision and began to retrace his steps when four individuals discharged a noxious material towards him, resulting in his loss of consciousness.

After recovering consciousness, Tahir discovered that he was in Nazimabad, but his mobile phone, identity card, and other personal items were gone.

Subsequently, he successfully arrived at his residence by walking, when his spouse and sibling transported him to the hospital.

Tahir’s parents and cousin came the next morning, and he proceeded to provide his statement at Shah Faisal police station.

Yesterday, just before plunging into the ocean, Tahir Mehmood, a resident of Shah Faisal Colony, initiated a video connection with his wife and declared, “I am intentionally ending my own life.” Maintain a state of happiness.

Subsequently, law enforcement authorities retrieved Tahir Mahmood’s vehicle at a considerable distance from the shoreline. As per the authorities, Tahir Mehmood is an internet-based chauffeur who is married to two individuals and is experiencing family conflicts at home due to financial difficulties.
