Maryam Nawaz: The court petitioned against the Punjab Chief Minister for wearing a police uniform.

According to the plaintiff’s request, Maryam Nawaz wore a police officer’s uniform, which is ‘unlawful’. The plea stated that no one may wear the uniform of state institutions in accordance with the law.

According to the applicant, police received a plea against Maryam Nawaz but no action was taken against her. The applicant requested that the court issue an order to register a complaint against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The court had scheduled a hearing on the case for April 29.

The Punjab Chief Minister was given a guard of honour, and prizes were awarded to top achievers from the Police Training College. The parade was inspected by the ceremony’s main guest.

Addressing the function, the Punjab Chief Minister stated that her government intends to boost the number of female police officers in the department.”I realized how much of a big responsibility it is after wearing the police uniform.”
