A brand new trophy was unveiled for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday.

The 24-carat “Supernova Trophy” was revealed at the Shalimar Gardens in Lahore and has left fans reeling. 

The PSL trophy is more than just an award, it is in many ways the biggest trophy a cricket team can win in Pakistan, given that in the last 8 years, PSL has come to be deeply loved by fans. 

At such a time, let’s take a look at the journey of PSL trophies over the years. 

PSL 2016

PSL 2017

PSL 2018

PSL 2020-2022

It must be noted that in 2020, the PCB announced that the PCB trophy revealed that year was here to stay. Therefore, between 2020 and 2022, the same trophy was used, and the winning team’s name was embossed on it each of the three years.

After proving herself in a number of roles, Pakistani actress Yumna Zaidi is rightfully considered a household name in Hollywood.

The “Zara Yaad Kar” starlet enthusiastically shared new images on Instagram. She wears something pink in the clips. Their distinctive posing style is one of the images’ strongest qualities.

The photographs all have their own unique style. “The Waris Shah’s Heer” is the title of the book she is seen carrying in one of the clicks.

Aima Baig responds to the issue over Sara Raza Khan’s autotune.

On social media, the recent spat between Pakistani singers Aima Baig and Sara Raza Khan has generated a lot of conversation. Aima recently responded to Sara’s criticism over her use of autotune.

Aima “is not a singer at all” without autotune, according to Sara Raza Khan’s earlier claim. This statement swiftly went viral and sparked discussions about authenticity and music technology.

In a recent Instagram story, Aima spoke directly to Sara, asking to be ignored and implying that she was using her name to increase views. Additionally, she counseled Sara to avoid being conceited about a “God-given talent” and to desist from disparaging other female musicians.

Momina Mustehsan has already intervened to support Aima. Momina acknowledged that Aima doesn’t use autotune in her own social media posts, praising her vocal prowess and referring to her as “one of the best” in the business.

But in order to maintain objectivity and encourage a constructive dialogue about natural talent and the place of technology in today’s music industry, Momina also recognized Sara Raza Khan as a gifted vocalist.
