Pakistan defeats Switzerland to win the Challenger Trophy in Hockey 5’s World Cup
Over in Muscat, Oman, Pakistan trounced Switzerland 10-1 to win the challenger trophy, which goes to the team that finishes in ninth position in the current Hockey5s World Cup.

Zikriya Hayat achieved a three-pointer. Three players each scored a brace: Arshad Liaqat, Hanan Shahid, and Rana Waheed Ashraf.

In the 9th–12th place match yesterday, Pakistan trounced Australia 11–3 to maintain their chances of winning the Challenger Trophy.

Against Australia, captain Rana Waheed Ashraf scored five goals.

Pakistan lost 8-7 to Poland on Monday, eliminating them from contention for the Hockey5s World Cup quarterfinals.

Pakistan might have advanced to the quarterfinals with just a draw against Poland in group A, but the green shirts missed their chance.
