Eight militant commanders killed in North Waziristan operation

During an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan, security forces successfully eliminated eight militants, including their commanding officer.

As per the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media division of the Pakistan Army, security forces carried out an operation based on information received concerning the existence of terrorists in North Waziristan.

Following an intense firefight, a total of eight terrorists, including the prominent terrorist leader Sehr Janan, were eliminated.

According to the ISPR, the deceased terrorist was implicated in plotting a terrorist assault against the security forces’ base in Mir Ali on March 16.
The deceased extremist, Sehr Janan, was highly sought after by law enforcement officials.

As per the ISPR, a clearance operation was in progress to eradicate the remaining militants concealed in the vicinity.

The ISPR affirmed that Pakistan’s security forces are resolute in their mission to eradicate the menace of terrorism within the nation.

It is important to recall that 48 hours ago, a group of terrorists attacked a security forces post in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, resulting in the martyrdom of seven troops, including a lieutenant colonel and a captain.

In addition, six terrorists were eliminated in the retaliatory operation.
