During Sunday’s last group encounter between Islamabad United and PSL’s Player Support Personnel, at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, the star bowler was punished for a level 1 violation of the PSL’s code of conduct.

After the last ball of Multan Sultans’ innings, Naseem kicked the stumps, leading to a charge for breaking Article 2.2, which prohibits misusing cricket gear, apparel, fixtures, and fittings.

There was no formal hearing required because Naseem entered a guilty plea to the charge and accepted the penalties suggested by match referee Roshan Mahanama.

On-field umpires Muhammad Asif and Ruchira Palliyaguruge levied the charge.
