Car parking at the Karachi airport is now more expensive according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
The spokesperson for the CAA claims that the automobile parking charges at the airport in Karachi have been set at Rs 100, after an increase of Rs 10. “Parking a car on airport property for three hours would cost Rs. 100.”
According to the spokeswoman, car owners who leave their vehicles parked on airport property for more than three hours will be assessed an additional tax.
According to a CAA official, the decision was reached by the Karachi Airport Management Committee following the conclusion of the private contractor’s contract.
The CAA added that there is an annual increase in parking rates of Rs 10.
