During a routine examination, Lahore Airport customs agents found 70 bottles of alcohol in the luggage of two ladies. On the other hand, the women were not detained, and no charges were brought against them, in contrast to an earlier occurrence in which a passenger had hundreds of cell phones seized from them.

Seventy bottles of alcohol were found by the authorities stashed in the bags of two female passengers. Interestingly, neither an arrest nor a court filing was made against the women right away.

This event occurred not long after three hundred cell phones were taken from the luggage of another traveler by customs officials, who were responding to a tip from the Intelligence Bureau.

Customs officials were apparently following protocol for the female passengers in the latest alcohol seizure, which suggests a possible security protocol violation.
