ATC Jude Malik Ejaz Asif issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the newly elected chief minister, ordering the police to bring him to court on April 2.

The arrest warrants for Ali Amin Gandapur were issued in a case filed at the City Police Station.

Earlier in the day, the Peshawar High Court on Tuesday directed the federal government to produce information about cases involving Ali Amin Gandapur.

A division bench of the high court, consisting of Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Shakeel Alhmed, heard a petition from KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur requesting information of proceedings against him.

“This problem has not yet resolved?” Justice Shakeel Ahmed inquired. “Problems persist; we do not know the number of cases registered in Punjab,” attorney Arshad Ahmed stated.

“Get bail if you’re involved in any case in Punjab,” Justice Shakeel advised. “If they do not supply us with information, we will take legal action. They are not supplying us with case data, and nothing has been disclosed in writing so far,” Gandapur’s lawyer stated.

“There are two inquiries against him in D.I.Khan,” stated FIA Director Legal Abdul Rehman.

“He is the chief minister of the province, and the people of the province have put their trust in him,” Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim stated. “The people voted for him, and now he’s running the province,” Justice Ibrahim added.

“It’s improbable that you couldn’t give him information. “Provide the petitioner with details of the cases filed against him,” the bench said.
