An more LHC judge is sent a “suspicious letter.”

According to the specifics, the suspicious letter was turned over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) after the LHC staff alerted the police.

Chief Justice (CJ) Shahzad Malik Ahmed of the Lahore High Court (LHC) had previously received a menacing letter containing “suspicious powder.”

The sources claim that after receiving the letter under the CJ’s name, the LHC personnel initially disregarded it since they thought it was just another “regular” letter. The sources said, “Later, upon opening the envelope, it was revealed that the letter also carried suspicious powder.”

The Chief Justice of the IHC and the other eight justices had allegedly received letters containing “anthrax” before this.

Court sources state that when a judge’s staff opened one of the letters, they discovered an unknown powder within.

A group of specialists from the Islamabad Police arrived at the Islamabad High Court’s location after the suspicious material was found in order to assess the situation.

Determining the nature of the powder and its possible harm is the main goal of the inquiry.

Court sources revealed that the letters include menacing symbols in addition to the powder.

Court sources state that the letter, which lacked an address, was written by a lady named Resham.

The Islamabad High Court has responded to the situation by proactively bringing in senior law enforcement officers to share updates and organize actions meant to protect the court.
