An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 has occurred in several areas of Balochistan.

The seismic center indicated that the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.4 on the Richter Scale.

The seismic vibrations were experienced in Quetta, Noshki, Chagai, Chaman, Qila Saifullah, Pashin, Mastung, and various other regions.

According to the seismic center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located approximately 150 kilometers away from Quetta. The earthquake had a depth of 35 kilometers in the south and west directions.

Thus far, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage in any area of Loralai. Individuals emerged from their residences in a state of apprehension, seeking solace by reciting the Kalma-e-Tayyaba.

On February 19, a seismic event with a magnitude of 4.5 occurred in Gilgit-Baltistan, specifically in the Ghizer district, causing vibrations throughout the area.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the earthquake originated on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. It had a depth of 102 kilometers and resulted in tremors in the surrounding areas.

According to a private news channel, there have been no significant injuries or destruction reported at this time, which has provided a sense of relief to the impacted people.

The authorities are closely watching the situation and are prepared to respond quickly and efficiently to any changes.
