Terrorist gunned down, two soldiers martyred in exchange of fire in Bajaur

  • ISPR says cross fire took place on the night of November 15-16. 
  • Weapon, ammunition also recovered from killed terrorist.

A terrorist was gunned down while two soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire that took place between the security forces and terrorists in the general area of Hilal Khel in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur District.

The military’s media wing said that the crossfire took place on the night of November 15-16.

“During the intense exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed. Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist,” the ISPR said. 

It added that the terrorist was actively involved in terror activities against security forces.

The military’s media wing also shared that 33-year-old Naik Taj Muhammad, a resident of Kohat, and 30-year-old Lance Naik Imtiaz Khan, a resident of Malakand), were martyred while fighting gallantly.

The security forces are carrying out sanitisation of the area to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.

Sindh will implement strict measures to uphold law and order: CM

“A thoroughplan has been developed to reduce kidnappings for ransom and street crimes,” stated Murad Ali Shah.

According to him, yesterday’s law and order meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence was presided over by President Asif Ali Zardari.

“CM Shah stated that the president ordered a stepped-up crackdown on drugs and the arrest of bandit facilitators in the Katcha area.”

According to Murad Ali Shah, the president deemed land grabs and encroachment intolerable. He declared: “The president’s orders will be fully implemented by the Sindh government.”

A Nigerian national has been arrested in connection with the drug trade, according to a briefing given by Sharjeel Memon, the provincial minister of excise, taxes, and anti-drug. “There have been 164 cases filed, 166 accused people have been arrested in cases, and three drug dealers have been killed in a crackdown in Hyderabad,”

Strict monitoring at schools to shield kids from drugs was decided upon at the conference.

The chief minister gave the excise department instructions to intensify its war on drugs in coordination with the federal government and other provinces.

Corps Commander Karachi promised to provide the Sindh government complete support in the fight against drugs.

US Ambassador Donald Blome praises Maryam’s portrayal of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

According to information, Maryam Nawaz was congratulated by the US envoy on being the first female Chief Minister of Punjab during their meeting.
